    The network of large group of servers that provides various services like application, storage and software services to the individuals, company or organizations is called cloud computing.
    Its types are:
    i. IaaS (Infrastructure as a Service)
    ii. PaaS (Platform as a Service)
    iii. SaaS (Software as a Service)

  2. Write down any two advantages and two disadvantages of cloud computing.
    i. It allows you to access files from any location at any time.
    ii. It helps in reducing the cost on hardware devices.
    iii. It allows you to use the various hosted services by cloud companies.
    iv. It delivers you on demand software services.

    i. It requires internet facilities to use the cloud services.
    ii. Users can only use those services hosted by the cloud companies.
    iii. There may be data security problems.
    iv. Users cannot fix the cloud computing problems and has to depend on service providers.

  3. What is AI? Write down any four applications of AI.
    The branch of a computer science that focuses on the development of intelligent machines that can react, think, decide, learn and work like human beings.
    Following are the applications of AI.
    i. AI in Health Sectors
    ii. AI in Business
    iii. AI in Industries
    iv. AI in Weather Forecasting
    v. AI in Games
    vi. AI in Entertainment

  4. Write any two advantages and two disadvantages of AI.
    i. It reduces the human efforts.
    ii. It helps in performing dangerous task.
    iii. It helps in making rational decisions without making errors or fewer errors.
    iv. It can act as a Virtual Private Assistant and helps in various tasks.
    i. It is expensive. Repair and maintenance cost are higher.
    ii. Developing AI machines and technology requires lot of time.
    iii. It can lead to severe unemployment opportunities.
    iv. It can only perform those tasks for which they are programmed.

  5. Define virtual reality. Write any four areas where VR is used.
    Virtual reality also known as VR is an artificial environment that are created with computer hardware and software and are presented to the users in such a way that it appears real.

    iv. VR in Programming Language
    v. VR in the Military

  6. What is e-governance? What are its advantages?
    The set of services provided to the citizens through the use of ICT tools and internet by the government agencies is called e-governance.
    i. It reduces the corruption.
    ii. It helps government to deliver their services faster.
    iii. It increases the public participation.
    iv. It improves the accessibility of government services.

  7. What are the types of e-governance?
    The types of E-Governance are:
    i. Government to Citizen (G2C)
    ii. Government to Business (G2B)
    iii. Government to Government (G2G)
    iv. Government to Employee (G2E)

  8. What is mobile computing? Write its advantages and disadvantages.
    Mobile Computing refers to the technology that allows the transmission of data, voice and video through computer or any other wireless devices like phones, tablet, iPad etc. It is also called m-computing.
    i. It provides better customer services.
    ii. It allows user to work from any location.
    iii. It increases the business transactions.
    iv. It allows user to work efficiently and effectively.

  9. What is IOT? What are its advantages?
    IoT stands for Internet of Things. It is a technology that connects computing devices and objects having ability to transfer data over the network without human to human and human to computer interactions.
    i. It reduces human efforts.
    ii. It helps in real time monitoring of data and business.
    iii. It increases efficiency and productivity.
    iv. It helps to automate our daily life activities.
    v. It helps in takin data-driven decisions.
